About Beth

Throughout my personal life and career, I’ve learned that success can be measured by the quality of our relationships and our commitment to always do our best.  Each step in my 30-year career in sales and marketing has been a building block, laying the foundation for me to effectively support my clients as an advisor with Engel & Völkers Chicago.

I started my career working for the Village of Glencoe, my hometown. For 25 years, I was a manufacturer’s representative brokering sales between name brand manufacturers and national retailers in the housewares industry. In this capacity, I sold products that made living and enjoying one’s home a luxury.

When I realized that I wanted to be more directly involved in helping people, I transitioned from marketing home goods to marketing homes and never looked back. I wake up every day excited to be working with home buyers and sellers – whether it be touring, staging, marketing or negotiating. I bring to the relationship a deep knowledge of Chicagoland’s many distinctive neighborhoods – especially the North Shore, where I grew up, made my home, raised my two children, and still reside. My clients would describe me as honest, fair, proactive, dedicated, and above all, passionate.

After building my real estate business for five years with a local brokerage, I wanted to be able to offer my clients more. In 2019, I joined Engel & Völkers, a privately-owned global brokerage founded in Europe in 1977. I share the company’s passion for excellence and collaboration, and my clients are already benefitting from the company’s powerful marketing platform and access to the Engel & Völkers local and global networks.

Every client deserves the best; reliability, expertise, professionalism, and care, and I am thankful for the opportunity to serve them. Over the years, many have become friends; my husband and I enjoy welcoming them into our home, especially into our backyard garden that we designed and grew ourselves.

My commitment to service goes beyond the real estate industry. Family and community are top priorities. We could not be prouder of our two children, Ryan and Katie.  In addition to volunteering in the Glencoe Public Schools when our kids were younger, I taught Sunday School for 13 years at Sacred Heart Church in Winnetka and helped to lead a teen mission trip to our sister parish in Haiti.

We are passionate about being outdoors; we enjoy hiking, fishing, and canoeing out west and in Canada. Locally we spend time working in our garden, walking through the Botanic Garden, and biking in the neighborhood. We’ve always had dogs, and with our children out of the nest, we enjoy taking long walks with Reilly, our lab mix.

If you are looking for an advisor who knows how to support you with a deep knowledge of the market and a personal commitment to service, I look forward to speaking with you. It would be my honor to ensure that your next move is your best.
