About Doug

My mission is to provide exemplary support and coaching services, be grateful that I can assist advisors in becoming trustworthy experts to their clients, and to love what I do each and every day.

Our shop takes white-glove service, knowledge, and creativity to a whole new level. With a second to none global strategy and a boutique mindset, we do not strive to be the biggest player in the industry; we strive to be the best. The quality of the Engel & Völkers network throughout the Americas and around the world results in exclusive access to a broad audience beyond Chicagoland, as well as significant referral opportunities for our Advisors.

The highlight of my 25-year career in residential sales has been the opportunity to mentor agents of all levels and abilities – helping them improve their skills, mindset, and the trajectory of their career. As a Managing Broker for Berkshire Hathaway, Sotheby’s, and Coldwell Banker’s Global Luxury office, I worked with agents and teams in Chicago, the North Shore, and Barrington to help achieve their professional and personal goals.

After graduating from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing, I entered the corporate world where I received intensive sales training with a Fortune 250 company. Desiring a more entrepreneurial environment, I transitioned into residential real estate sales and launched my career as an award-winning luxury broker before shifting gears to the management side of the business.

An Ohio Native, I am proud to call Chicago my home. It’s livable, down-to-earth, and has amazing restaurants and culture. I enjoy working out, eating healthy, and making the most of every day. Most people are surprised to learn that for the past 20 years, I am in a pool league where my team and I traveled to Las Vegas to compete in three national tournaments.
