Personable, honest, and hard-working are the four words that my clients would use to describe me. I truly love helping people stay positive, especially in challenging situations. These attributes, along with my genuine desire to connect with people, inspired me to take my real estate business to Engel & Völkers Chicago North Shore.
The world is moving faster than ever. With the click of a button, goods can be delivered to your doorstep in a matter of hours. Engel & Völkers takes us back to the most important element in building strong and trusting relationships -- personal connections. Being a people person, my clients always appreciate my commitment to serve their best interests.
Growing up, my family moved around the country for my dad’s successful career in coaching football. With each move, I learned first-hand the ups and downs of relocating. This experience has given me a unique, empathic perspective the enables me to guide my clients and support them every step of the way more effectively.
Ultimately, my family landed on the beautiful North Shore of Chicago, where I attended Lake Forest High School. After graduating from Indiana University, I enjoyed careers in public relations and teaching. In these roles. I honed my communication skills and the ability to effectively multitask, traits that have proven valuable in residential sales.
After living in Lincoln Park and Lakeview for ten years, I longed for a backyard and the tranquility of the North Shore so my husband and I made one more move, settling down in Wilmette. Wilmette offers a true sense of community and “urban suburban” feel. The smaller lots, proximity to the city, and size of the population keeps us connected to Chicago in the best way.
We have three young children whose sports and activities fill-up our schedules. We enjoy spending time at the beach, especially the dog beach with our chocolate lab, Boomer, as well as watching the Cubs and attending summer concerts. I have been fortunate to serve as a mentor in the Boys Hope Girls Scholarship program, and I am also a member of the school board at my children’s school.
