About Mike Loffredo

My friends and family describe me as a workaholic. I have always believed that if you enjoy what you do, it doesn't feel like work. I genuinely care about helping our clients achieve their real estate goals and I pursue it with passion. At Ames Group Chicago, we live by the Engel & Völkers’ core values of competency, exclusivity and passion. Together, we are working every day to raise the bar and improve our client experience.

During my three years leading a team of account executives at a software company specializing in media intelligence, I learned that the key to a successful experience is frequent, open communication. When working with a new client, my goal is to be a great listener, enabling me to understand their perspective and then tailor a custom strategy that meets their unique needs.

While studying for my degree in Economics, I was actively involved with the Entrepreneurs Club, focusing on new business incubation. Since moving to Chicago, I continue to get inspiration through my involvement with Chicago’s technology and entrepreneurship center, 1871. I am always actively involved in new and exciting projects, taking ideas from inception to implementation. I have been fortunate to be able to channel my energy and passion for new ideas and solving complex problems in real estate.

Originally from Chicago’s northwest suburbs, I now live in Chicago’s Southport Corridor neighborhood and find city living energizing. I especially enjoy visiting the Art Institute of Chicago and the Adler Planetarium, taking cooking classes, and enjoying the city’s vibrant restaurant scene. I grew up in a large Italian family and am passionate about food and wine. When I can get away, I enjoy vacationing in Europe and look forward to visiting Engel & Völkers shops along the way.
